Those honoured played key roles in disaster response, AI transformation and business growth, both domestically and internationally.

HÀ NỘI — Viettel Group on Friday held its annual Viettel’s Stars event to recognise individuals and teams with exceptional contributions in 2024. Winners played key roles in disaster response, AI transformation and business growth, both domestically and internationally.
Among them, driver Huynh Thanh Tuyen, who safely covered over 38,900 kilometres, was named one of Viettel’s ten outstanding individuals worldwide. Other awardees included high-tech engineers, technicians working amid conflict in Haiti, and a supermarket director in the northern province of Phú Thọ, who doubled her store’s revenue.
Viettel selected ten individuals and ten teams from over 50,000 employees, representing four key sectors: Telecommunications, IT solutions, High-Tech Industry, and Logistics. These 'stars' overcame challenges, embraced new tasks, and found innovative solutions, embodying Viettel’s culture of adaptability.
Speaking at the ceremony, Viettel’s Chairman and CEO Tào Đức Thắng said: “Viettel is stronger not because of past victories, but because it has never been satisfied with itself, always looking for ways to move forward, go further and do better every day.”
Over 2025, Viettel aims to build 20,000 5G stations, invest in large-scale data centres, advance semiconductor technology and develop high-tech weapons and strategic equipment.
Award winners are to receive cash awards and opportunities for international or domestic training to further enhance their skills, reinforcing Viettel’s leadership in innovation and digital transformation. — VNS
