HÀ NỘI — The Việt Nam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, in partnership with TikTok LIVE, officially kicked off 'Vietnamese Beauty Season 3: Touching Heritage', a creative programme using livestreaming to celebrate Vietnamese culture and promote sustainable tourism on Thursday.
Held at TikTok’s Creator House in Hà Nội, the launch brought together representatives from key provinces including Hà Nội, Phú Thọ, Ninh Bình, Thanh Hóa and Huế, as well as cultural experts, TikTok creators and partners like Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Viettel 5G, BYD Auto Vietnam, MoMo and Huda.
The programme will unfold in two phases: an online event from May 12 to 18, where creators showcase Việt Nam's heritage, followed by an offline journey from June 1 to 10 through five culturally rich provinces. Livestreams on the official TikTok LIVE channel (@tiktoklive_vietnam) will offer real-time insights into each region’s architecture, traditions and cuisine.
“TikTok LIVE is the bridge connecting emotions - helping viewers not only ‘see’ but truly ‘touch’ the heritage,” said TikTok Vietnam representative Nguyễn Lâm Thanh.
“Technology can renew how we perceive and connect with culture, especially among younger generations.”
Alongside the livestreams, the programme will feature discussions on sustainable tourism, digital heritage preservation and how social media can help lesser-known cultural sites gain visibility.
“Each smartphone becomes a window to our cultural treasures,” said Nguyễn Thị Thu Hương, Deputy Director of the Việt Nam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund.
“Streaming platforms now make it possible for anyone to experience heritage in a real, engaging way - while helping preserve it for future generations.”
