Viettel IDC, a member company of Viettel Group, has signed a strategic co-operation agreement with Radware, a world leading company in cyber security, to research, develop and supply cloud-based security solutions in Việt Nam and the region.
Accordingly, Viettel IDC will become the first managed security service provider (MSSP) in Việt Nam to meet international standards and participate in Radware's global monitoring system to provide and manage information security solutions on cloud platform. The services include: web app protection firewall service, transmission anti-attack service, Application Programming Interface (API) protection service and Bot management service (network Robot) on Viettel IDC's Cloud ecosystem platform.
The agreement includes the deployment of a point-of-presence (POP) at Viettel IDC to help minimise data latency, improve service quality and ensure 24 hour technical support with Viettel IDC's and global Radware experts, which complies with routing requirements for regional organisations.
“We are committed to working with Viettel IDC to expand the ecosystem of cloud-based security solutions and increase the security and availability of digital services for Viettel customers,” said Roy Zisapel, Chairman and CEO of Radware.
The agreement is part of Viettel IDC's strategy in promoting international co-operation, diversifying the service ecosystem and promoting the "One-Stop shopping" model in Việt Nam. — VNS
