HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnamese tour operator Vietravel won the Best Travel Agency award at the 25th TTG Travel Awards ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 2.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Vietravel has won the prize.
In the first nine months of this year, Vietravel handled 457,000 tourists, earning VND3.5 trillion (US$166.6 million) in revenue. The company has 40 branches nationwide and has representative offices in countries such as Cambodia, Thailand and the United States.
Vietravel aims to become the first Vietnamese multinational travel agency in the period from 2015 to 2020.
Established in 1995, the company has been expanding its domestic and international operations, and has successfully attracted foreign customers such as from Japan, South Korea and Europe.
The TTG Travel Awards, known as a TTG Travel Trade Publishing event, is organised by TTG Asia, with the support of TTG India, TTG China, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China, TTG Asia Luxury and TTG associations. — VNS
