Starbucks Vietnam today introduced Starbucks Reserve® Vietnam Da Lat, its first single-origin coffee from the country, which will go on sale at its Vietnamese stores from January 4, 2016.
Starbucks Reserve® coffees are exceptional coffees from small lots that are roasted to a signature profile to bring out each coffee's unique flavours. Starbucks Reserve® Vietnam Da Lat is known to have a bright refreshing acidity that brings out the flavours of kola nut, toffee and vanilla.
"Starbucks Reserve® Vietnam Da Lat honours Vietnam's rich coffee heritage and traditions, as well as the local farmers who have elevated the country's specialty-grade Arabica coffee to the global stage," Patricia Marques, general manager of Starbucks Vietnam, said.
Vietnam Da Lat coffee is grown in Cau Dat District, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. This coffee was first made available in select Starbucks stores in the US and other countries in July 2015.
Starbucks opened its first store in HCM City in February, 2013 and now it has 18 stores nationwide.
Customers who make any purchase at a Vietnamese Starbucks store between 7am and 10am on January 4 will be offered a cup of Vietnam Da Lat coffee. — VNS
