Each passenger is allowed to bring along a bundle measuring 150x40x40cm and comprising no more than two branches. The cost will stand at VND495,000 (US$22) per bundle, including tax.
Passengers must book the service in advance at ticket offices of Vietnam Airlines and its affiliate Pacific Airlines nationwide and receive confirmation.
Other ornamental plants are not eligible for the programme.
Of note, with the launch of its e-commerce site vnamall.vietnamairlines.com, the carrier offers peach blossoms and ochna flower purchase and delivery services for customers living in Ha Noi and HCM City starting January 7.
Member carriers of Vietnam Airlines Group, comprising Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and VASCO, plan to resume ten more domestic air routes from January 2022, raising the number of such routes to nearly 50.
The number of seats will also be raised by 120 per cent from the current level to nearly two million to serve the Lunar New Year peak, which falls in late January and early February. — VNS
