Vietnam Airlines is actively participating in the promotion of the National Tourism Year – Điện Biên 2024 and the Hoa Ban Festival.

As the official transportation sponsor, the national carrier aims to showcase the historical and cultural richness of the northern province of Điện Biên to both domestic and international tourists.

By collaborating with Điện Biên Province, Vietnam Airlines seeks to contribute to the cultural, tourism and economic development of the region. The airline recognises its role in supporting the Government and local authorities in promoting the National Tourism Year, acting as a vital link to attract visitors to the Northwest region of Việt Nam.

In addition to providing transportation services, the carrier is leveraging its media channels to raise awareness of Điện Biên globally. By doing so, the airline hopes to stimulate tourism and economic growth in the province and the broader Northwest region.

To cater to the increased demand from tourists during the festive period, Vietnam Airlines has doubled the number of daily flights from Hà Nội to Điện Biên. This move will ensure convenient travel options and facilitate the influx of visitors to Điện Biên between March 6 and March 30, 2024. — VNS
