Vietjet has been honoured as having one of Viet Nam's best working environments in Asia by HR Asia Magazine, a highly respected newspaper on human resources in Asia.
The "Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2019" awards are held each year in different countries and territories such as Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
HR Asia conducts in-depth surveys with senior executives and human resource (HR) managers at leading Vietnamese companies on HR policies, recruitment and strategies for developing excellent working environments.
"This award is especially exciting as employees' surveys form part of the evaluation. We will continue our commitment investing in employee well-being and engagement to ensure our further success," Khanh said.
Vietjet for many years has been named as one of Asia's Best Employers, one of the top 500 leading Asian brands, and one of the top 50 airlines worldwide for financing and operations by Air Finance Journal. The airline has also received many domestic and international awards.
As of December 31 last year, Vietjet employed 3,850 employees from over 30 countries, an increase of 24.3 per cent year-on-year, a reflection of the airline's international recruitment strategy. In 2018, Vietjet trained 68 cadets to become pilots.
In early November last year, Vietjet opened its Aviation Academy with a flight simulatior complex (Full Flight Simulator) in partnership with Airbus. It is approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and certified under European standards, the world’s leading aviation standards. — VNS
