Vietjet inaugurates two new routes to India
Vietjet has so far operated over 8,300 flights and served nearly 1.62 million passengers on its routes to India.
HCM CITY — Vietjet has inaugurated two new routes to Bengaluru and Hyderabad, two of India's leading metropolitan cities, offering convenient travel options for local people and tourists.
The airline is offering two return flights per week on the HCM City – Hyderabad route and three return flights per week on the HCM City – Bengaluru.
According to Vietjet, these two new routes will increase the total number of routes between Việt Nam and India, the world’s most populous country, to ten, connecting Hà Nội, HCM City, and Đà Nẵng with Indian major metropolitan centres and leading economic, cultural, political and technological hubs, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Kochi.
To date Vietjet has operated over 8,300 flights and served nearly 1.62 million passengers on its Việt Nam-India routes.
Vietjet's Vice President Đỗ Xuân Quang said: “India is one of Vietjet’s key markets, and we are pleased to launch two direct routes connecting Hyderabad and Bengaluru with HCM City.
"With the strategic locations of Hyderabad and Bengaluru, these new routes will provide convenience for travelers, while also promoting cultural, tourism and economic exchanges between the two countries and regions.
"Beyond offering affordable flights, Vietjet takes pride in its extensive network, allowing Indian travellers seamless access to top destinations across the Asia-Pacific via Việt Nam,” he added.
To celebrate the launch of new routes, Vietjet is giving away tickets priced from zero đồng for flights between HCM City and Bengaluru, Hyderabad, with flights from June 1 to October 15, this year.
