HÀ NỘI — FPT University and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) on March 4, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Hà Nội to enhance training and development in digital banking and finance.

This partnership is strategically significant in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI). The MoU aims to combine the strengths of both institutions to improve the quality of human resources, provide students with career opportunities, and advance scientific research in Digital Banking and Finance.

FPT University and VietinBank will work together to develop a team of digital banking experts and engage in scientific research. VietinBank will prioritise hiring graduates from FPT University, especially in areas such as artificial intelligence, information security, digital banking and finance, investment finance, corporate finance, financial technology (FinTech) and digital marketing.

The two institutions will implement short-term training programs, conduct research, and organise specialised forums and seminars. VietinBank will also contribute by sending experts to participate in training initiatives. — VNS
