HÀ NỘI — CT Group was among a select group of enterprises invited to participate in the exhibition 'Resolution 68: a new driver for the development of Việt Nam’s private economy', held at the National Assembly on May 18 and 19.

Organised as part of a national conference to implement Politburo Resolutions No 66 and 68, it aimed to highlight the role of private enterprises in advancing innovation and sustainable development. CT Group’s exhibit focused on three key areas: future mobility, semiconductor production and carbon credit trading.

One of the high spots was a booth showing a prototype of a manned unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), developed by subsidiary CT UAV. The aircraft can fly at 190 kilometres per hour for two hours over distances up to 350 km. A full-scale model is expected to debut in October. The project reflects efforts to explore alternative urban transport solutions amid growing infrastructure pressures.

Also featured was CT Group’s semiconductor project, with phase two of its ATP (Assembly, Testing, Packaging) chip plant in Bình Dương launched in April. Slated to begin operation in late 2025, the facility targets annual output of 100 million chips by 2027. Notably, over 10 per cent of its investment is earmarked for R&D, focusing on technologies such as AI and 6G.

In the environmental sphere, the group introduced the ASEAN Carbon Credit Trading Platform (CCTPA), which offers services ranging from UAV-based emissions monitoring to automated carbon accounting via the Sustain. Life platform. It aims to support Vietnamese enterprises in meeting international ESG standards and participating in global carbon markets.

Resolution 68 outlines the goal of developing the private sector into a pillar of productivity and integration. CT Group’s efforts show how a domestic enterprise can shift from diversified operations toward core technological development. While still evolving, its projects represent a broader trend of Vietnamese private firms moving into high-tech industries that are likely to shape the country’s future economic landscape. — VNS
