Vietfood International JSC on Wednesday in HCM City officially launched its welfare project called “Vietfood International - Opening the Future” to support disadvantaged Vietnamese households.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, head of Vietfood International JSC Nguyễn Huỳnh Đạt said the project aims to give disadvantaged households the opportunity to become the company’s agents.
By 2026, the project targets to approach about six million low-income households to help them access better job opportunities and earn stable incomes.
Accordingly, the company will work with local authorities and relevant agencies to proactively approach households with low and unstable incomes across the country, and provide them support solutions.
It will act as a bridge helping the households to find jobs through a reality show called "Opening the Future”.
It will help the households to save 50 per cent on monthly costs for essential goods and necessities, and ensure the right for them to use safe and high-quality products.
It will offer them zero-đồng start-up opportunities and scholarships for vocational training as professional chefs, professional bartenders, restaurant servers, housekeepers, designers, spa workers, hairdressers, supermarket workers, agricultural workers, and welfare supermarket chain managers.
When the households become Vietfood International’s members, they will receive many other benefits such as a health check package at a reasonable price and job introductions.
At the event, Vietfood International signed MoUs with its partners to co-operate in implementing this project. — VNS
