HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — US-based Greenvity Communications, which specialises in Internet of Things turnkey solutions for smart LED lighting, smart home/building, security, and safety and energy management, has come to Viet Nam.

Its products include its own patented ‘hybrid mesh' chip with mesh working technology that provides communications links for commercial buildings and industrial and agricultural applications.

It is the world's only chip to integrate wireless and powerline communications, enabling always-connected links which can penetrate concrete walls and cover entire buildings, the company said.

Nguyen Hung, the company's Vietnamese-American founder, said his products enable remote control of all kinds of LED and non-LED lights as well as air-conditioners, heaters, and other gadgets using mobile devices.

DFJ VinaCapital – a joint venture between Silicon Valley-based investment fund DFJ and the Viet Nam-based VinaCapital – has invested in Greenvity.— VNS
