Cooking oil producer Tường An Vegetable Oil Joint Stock Company has recently announced that it will implement a series of improvements to enhance the quality and packaging of its products in order to serve the consumer demand nationwide at Tết (Lunar New Year) 2024, which comes in two months.

At the same time, the company said, it will take advantage of its nationwide network of 450,000 retail points, combining B2B channels and e-commerce platforms to increase revenue, coverage, and diversify the shopping experience for consumers.

The company has directed its factories to focus on production, proactively coordinating the supply chain to ensure sufficient supply and meeting the high demand during Lunar New Year.

The company has also reserved supplies to ensure price stability for consumers.

Regarding the market outlook for this year's Tết holiday, Bùi Thanh Tùng, deputy general director of KIDO Group and CEO of Tường An Vegetable Oil Joint Stock Company, said: "Consumers this year will tend to shop intelligently, focusing on basic and essential needs for their daily lives. Similarly, businesses giving Tết gifts to employees will also focus on choosing essential products that employees can use daily."

"For households, they will prioritise reputable and quality products to care for their families during Tết. Therefore, reputable, long-standing brands in the market with stable prices and attractive promotional programmes will continue to have an advantage in the 2024 Tết market,” Tùng said.

Tùng also stated that shopping trends have changed quite a lot after the pandemic.

“This year, we will make the most of our network of 450,000 retail points in the essential food sector, strengthen cooperation with B2B partners and e-commerce channels to promote the image of carefully crafted Tết combos and convey optimistic and positive messages that each gift box brings to consumers,” Tùng said.

Tường An will collaborate with e-commerce platforms and E2E shopping channels to promote commerce on platforms such as TikTok with unique live sessions and attractive offers to promote the brand and bring Tường An's Tết products and combos closer to consumers nationwide, added Tùng.

Tùng affirmed that the company has already received large gift orders from businesses and partner companies.
