Vietnam Food Industries Joint Stock Company (VIFON), a leading instant foods producer, targets exports of more than one billion items a year in the near future, its chairwoman has said.
Eight Vietnamese companies have contracted to participate in two
exhibitions, the Food&HotelAsia (FHA) and Wine&SpiritAsia (WSA),
in April, to be held concurrently in April.
A HCM City court on November 27 handed down sentences of seven to 30
years to five defendants involved in embezzlement of funds at the Viet
Nam Food Industries Joint-Stock Company (Vifon) from 2002 to 2006.
VIFON, one of the country''s leading makers of instant foods, received
the Labour Medal, First Class, for its contribution to the country''s
economic development.
