The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) announced on Tuesday that it has presented an Aircraft Operator Certificate (AOC) to Bamboo Airways, allowing the airline to begin commercial flights.
In September, Thai Vietjet increased its frequency of flights on major domestic routes Bangkok-Phuket, Bangkok-Chiang Mai and Phuket-Chiang Rai. The move is aimed at better serving travel demand of local and international passengers.
