Sheraton Saigon and Le Meridien Saigon will organise a charity run in HCM City on October 11 as part of their operator Starwood Hotels & Resorts's "Run to Give", which will take place in 105 locations across the Asia Pacific.

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Sheraton Saigon and Le Meridien Saigon will organise a charity run in HCM City on October 11 as part of their operator Starwood Hotels & Resorts's "Run to Give", which will take place in 105 locations across the Asia Pacific.

It will start at 7 am at Binh Thanh District's Van Thanh Park, and expects to attract more than 250 participants from the two Starwood properties and their associates.

The run hopes to raise funds for orphanages.

"Run to Give" also marks the kick-off in the Asia-Pacific of Together As One (TAO), Starwood's annual global volunteer campaign.

Instituted in 2014 as Hotel Charity Run, the inaugural event saw over 20,000 runners take part in 92 locations across the Asia Pacific, raising close to US$ 228,000. — VNS
