HCM CITY (Biz Hub)– Starbucks Viet Nam on Thursday introduced five new drinks to Vietnamese customers for the coming autumn season.

They are ristretto bianco, salted-caramel mocha, iced salted-caramel mocha, chocolate-cream frappuccino and salted-caramel frappuccino.

"We are challenging ourselves to give customers an experience that is premium and reflects our passion for coffee," said Patricia Marques, general manager of Coffee Concepts Viet Nam, a subsidiary of Hong Kong Maxim's Group that brought Starbucks to Viet Nam.

"We believe that with the specially handcrafted espresso beverage (ristretto bianco), we will take our customers on a coffee journey that will add an exquisite and a luxurious touch to their favourite latte," she said.

Also on the same day, the company announced its first-ever promotion.

"Experience our seasonal beverages and get a stamp every time you try one coffee on the Espresso Passport," said Marques. "Once you have four stamps, enjoy a tall-size beverage free from our espresso menu."

"Or enjoy coffee with others and then participate in a Facebook photo contest to win one of our beautiful autumn merchandise, or enjoy even more coffee during the happy hour," she added. "Last but not least, try one of our unique seasonal blends, Ethiopia, and you will receive a mug to enjoy your coffee."

Starbucks, which has been in Viet Nam for nearly a year, opened its first two stores in HCM City and expects to open another one soon. —VNS
