Starbucks Vietnam opened its first Starbucks Reserve Coffee Bar in HCM City on Han Thuyen Street in District 1, offering customers an extraordinary coffee experience that brings them closer to Starbucks coffee and baristas than ever before.

The store is opened following the success of the first of its kind in the capital city of Ha Noi.

In addition to the classic Starbucks menu, customers are introduced to the Reserve bar, where old flavors are not so familiar anymore: each reserve espresso beverage made with the Black Eagle machine delivers a smooth quality and consistent taste profile.

Featuring one-of-a-kind coffee sourced from small coffee-growing regions in Latin America, Africa and Asia/Pacific Islands, the Starbucks Reserve bar comes to life through the hands of Starbucks coffee masters performing a variety of brewing methods.

“The opening of Starbucks Reserve Han Thuyen marks an important milestone for us, as we’re approaching our fifth year of business in Viet Nam,” said Patricia Marques, general manager, Starbucks Vietnam.

“Letting coffee take center stage and creating an immersive and educational environment, we never cease to reaffirm our commitment to delivering exceptional coffee experiences and surprising customers year by year,” she said.

Staying loyal to Starbucks’ core principle of honoring local origins, the Starbucks Reserve Han Thuyen store is a bold yet harmonious combination in architecture, where it celebrates Vietnamese culture through brocade motifs from the K’Ho people in Lam Dong, yet still maintains hints of French art with brick wall tiles similar to those used at the Notre Dame Cathedral.

This subtlety embedded with pride, and elegance mingled with boldness translates the “handcrafted” spirit that what makes the Reserve beverages so special. — VNS
