Marek E. Forysiak, chairman of SmartNet Co.Ltd, the owner of SmartPay E-wallet, said: “The small- to medium-sized traditional businesses that make up the majority of the SmartPay merchant network will now be able to serve millions of mobile-ready customers from Vietcombank.
“This co-operation represents another significant development in providing advanced technology to customers and micro/small merchants in Viet Nam in line with our strategic goal of ‘Merchants Go Digital’.”
As of May 5.7 million people use the SmartPay application, including more than 600,000 merchants. — VNS
