SLP, HTM cooperate to build logistics infrastructure

SLP Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SLP) and Construction and Mechanic JSC (HTM) on May 8 hosted a signing ceremony for their long-term cooperation in the development of logistics infrastructure in Hai Phong City.

The aim is to improve the quality of services, create opportunities for collaboration and investment in logistics projects in Viet Nam and other locations.

Kent Yang, CEO of SLP, believed that HTM's assets and practical indigenous local knowledge would help the two enterprises in achieving the goal of introducing international logistics and warehousing to Hai Phong as part of a long-term growth strategy in Viet Nam.

Dao Manh Sen, CEO of HTM, said that the company wanted to strengthen its competence and broaden its scope of activities to other sectors that are in SLP's portfolio while concentrating on developing in industrial areas in the North of Viet Nam.

Dao Trong Khoa, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Logistics Service Enterprises, highlighted that the collaboration between an unit excels in infrastructure like HTM and a strong unit in management and operation of warehouses and factories, like SLP Vietnam, would help improve the ability to deliver high-quality logistics services, operational processes, and cost-optimisation.
