Saigon Co.op organised an art performance event at SC Vivo City shopping mall in HCM City’s District 7 on June 25 to inaugurate a number of activities being held at its 800 outlets across the country to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day (June 28).

The event saw the participation of the family of acrobatic artists Quoc Co and Hong Phuong, singer Thanh Ngoc, and music band Skyfallband.

It was live-streamed on the Co.opmart fanpage.

The programme showcased three fashion collections for families.

The outfits are made from environment-friendly materials to spread the message "every family is an ambassador for environmental protection."

They are available at all Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets nation-wide.

The programme also featured the song “Ben trong chiec om” (Inside the hug), written by well-known composer Nguyen Van Chung and performed by singer Thanh Ngoc exclusively for the event.

The cheerful combination of modern and traditional music promises to become a big hit. — VNS
