Sacombank awarded Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit


Sacombank and Nguyen Duc Thach Diem, CEO and a member of the board of directors of the bank, received the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit for their contributions to social security, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee’s activities and the cause of building and defending the country.

Sacombank and Nguyen Duc Thach Diem, CEO and a member of the board of directors of the bank, received the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit for their contributions to social security, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee’s activities and the cause of building and defending the country.

Sacombank practical contributions include to healthcare and education, building gratitude houses, bridges, roads, and schools, and giving gifts to disadvantaged families and those affected by natural disasters and floods.

It carries out a number of annual humanitarian activities like the Warm Spring charity programme, ‘Nurturing dreams’ scholarships, ‘Share from the heart’ blood donation programme, and ‘Steps for the community’ online marathon/jogging programme.

Sacombank also received the ‘Excellent Grassroots Trade Union’ emulation flag from the HCM City Confederation of Labour for its contributions to the good labour emulation movement and building a strong trade union.

Vietnam Report and VietNamNet newspaper announced the list of 500 largest enterprises in 2020 (VNR 500) on January 8 in Ha Noi.

The best of the Top 500 were also honoured in a Top 50 Vietnam the Best 2020 list. Sacombank is in this list for its business performance, contributions to the Government treasury and “positively connecting with the community and society.” — VNS
