HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Nam Long Investment Group has launched the first project in its EHomeS apartment series: the EHomeS Phu Huu.

The development is located on an 18,000-sq.m land lot in District 9, and its 1,384 units are expected to be completed by the end of next year—ranging in size from 40sq.m to 60 sq.m. It will have green space, a playground and a community hall. Prices start from VND599 million (US$26,800).

The company's targeted clientele will include state employees, professional army members, industrial park workers and low-income earners.

Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha has warned against the possibility of insufficient supply for low-income earners and over 1,100 people showed interest on the project's launch day on Sunday.

According to the ministry, this year's new apartment supply may reach 80,000 units, with around 70 per cent being high-end. — VNS
