Programme launched to support SME CEOs


The programme aims at improving the quality of human resources in management for SMEs in Ha Noi to help businesses more proactive and confident in the process of operation and development.

The Ha Noi Business Support Centre under the municipal Department of Investment and Planning, the Asian Institute of Technology in Viet Nam (AIT Vietnam) and the Viet Nam-Japan Institute for Human Resource Development (VJCC) on Wednesday signed an agreement for a “Supporting programme for intensive business administration training on knowledge for CEOs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the city."

The programme aims at improving the quality of human resources in management for SMEs in Ha Noi to help businesses more proactive and confident in the process of operation and development.

CEOs who register for the programme will be able to participate in 12 topics on knowledge, business skills, leadership, innovation, and directly visit and learn at the Top VNR500 enterprises in Ha Noi and the south region.

The programme is designed with the most suitable training contents and activities for SMEs in the capital with the participation of teaching experts and lecturers with practical experience both inside and outside the country.

The programme is expected to bring many practical values ​​to managers and entrepreneurs in all fields of business, manufacturing, trade and service. In particular, they will receive half of tuition support from the budget of the Ha Noi People's Committee.

To create the most favourable conditions for students, the schedule will be flexibly arranged in different time frames.

Students will be awarded a certificate of completion of the course issued by the Ha Noi Department of Investment and Planning and the training provider if they fully attend at least 85 per cent of the course.

It is expected to open the first class in mid-August. — VNS
