Dutch company Philips and Hong Duc General Hospital on Wednesday signed a multi-year agreement for a comprehensive turnkey solution.
The company will supply Hong Duc’s newly built second hospital the latest medical imaging and patient monitoring solutions, healthcare IT solutions and comprehensive training programmes.
It will support the hospital with workflow optimisation and experience design services aimed at improving both patient and staff experiences to deliver better clinical outcomes.
Situated in An Phu Dong Ward in District 12, the 40,000sq.m Hong Duc II is scheduled to open in early 2020 with 315 beds.
It will be equipped with the latest Philips image-guided therapy and diagnostic imaging solutions and a hybrid operating room to provide general healthcare services focusing on cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, and paediatrics.
At the signing ceremony, Carel Ritcher, the Dutch consul in HCM City, expressed happiness at the signing of the deal saying, “The Dutch Government has supported the projects with financial solutions.” – VNS
