Real estate developer Novaland Group has donated nearly VND6 billion to support the campaign to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in HCM City and neigbouring provinces.

Novaland said the support is made from the group’s budget and contributions from Novaland staff.

The support from Novaland will be used to donate more health-care equipment like masks, negative pressure isolation rooms, and other medical equipment which will help medical staff and people who are joining in preventing COVID-19 have better working conditions.

The group, together with Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, will provide 10,000 fast-test kits to many provinces including Binh Thuan.

In Binh Thuan on Wednesday, Novaland handed over 6,000 masks and nearly 7,000 hand-washing gel bottles to local people.

In addition, Novaland has called on their partners and companies to join hands to give more support to prevent and control the epidemic.

Novaland has set up an epidemic prevention board which is headed by the group’s general director. The board will outline business contingency plans to control risks in the whole group, including their office buildings, transaction centres, constructions, hotels and apartment buildings.

Novaland has been carrying out many solutions to prevent the epidemic so that its staff and customers are able to work and make transactions in safe conditions. — VNS
