Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus are the first two phones covered by the programme, with the company saying phones launched from now on would also be covered.
Nokia said it is the brand with the largest number of models upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie. So far its 7 Plus, 6.1 and 6.1 Plus have received the upgrade.
Android 9.0 Pie has been hailed for bringing to users a number of unique features thanks to AI.
The company said users of the three models would also be among the first to use Digital Wellbeing Beta that is being piloted on Google Play. — VNS
