Thailand carrier Nok Air on Thursday announced that it had updated its website with a new booking engine.

The new booking system will offer customers more freedom of choice when purchasing tickets and services with the concept ‘1-2-3 Book and Fly’.

The entirely revamped www.nokair.com is designed to offer fully transparent information that will help customers easily choose the offer that best suits their needs.

Starting from Thursday, three fare categories will be available for all bookings on the airline’s booking channels, including its website, mobile application, call center 1318, and sale booths.

Passengers who prefer to travel only with carry-on luggage or simply with a backpack can purchase Nok Lite, which offers the most competitive pricing.

Passengers who prefer to travel with checked baggage of up to 15kg for domestic travel, and 20 kg for international travel, will be able to select Nok X-tra, while those who prefer to travel with checked luggage and quality with delicious hot meals can select Nok MAX.

In addition, should a customer need to travel with additional flexibility, Nok Flexi offers priority check-in, with added flexibility in making changes to reservations, among other advantages.

Piya Yodmani, Nok Air’s CEO, said: “We are really happy to unveil our new products, designed to put forward the choice to fit any lifestyle with transparent information for all our passengers. These fare products aim to create pricing segments giving our passengers more freedom of choice when booking flights, since we know that not everyone’s needs are the same.”

Nok Air remains as always a Thailand carrier with priority to cover the domestic Thai market while expanding regional markets operations, he said. — VNS
