Digital solutions provider Zebra Technologies recently announced that its scanning solution has been successfully introduced by Nhất TínLogistics at all branches to enhance the traceability of received parcels and keep up with increased deliveries driven by consumers’ heightened expectations within the on-demand economy.

Specifically, Nhất Tín Logistics worked closely with a Zebra’s partner connect reseller, Total Solutions Logistics Ltd (TSL), to implement and deploy the solution.

TSL’s approach was to provide a total and comprehensive logistics solution, a "one-stop logistics solution", to enhance overall efficiency, optimise processes and save costs for Nhất Tín Logistics' warehouse operations.

Zebra’s solution implemented by Nhất Tín Logistics can quickly and easily capture poorly printed, damaged, crinkled, faded, truncated and low contrast barcodes.

“Nhất Tín Logistics is constantly looking at innovative ways to enhance our operations to better improve service quality for our customers,” said Nguyễn Văn Tú, general director, Nhất TínTin Logistics.

“By introducing the right scanning technology, we have cut costs by 5 per cent and increased our operational efficiency by 15 per cent,” he said.

E–commerce is the fastest growing third-party logistics (3PL) market segment globally. Retailers are increasingly relying upon 3PLs to help manage omnichannel and e–commerce supply chain operations.

In Việt Nam, the e-commerce market hit US$14 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach $32 billion by 2025.

“Investment in the right technology is the key to helping 3PLs succeed in today’s rapidly evolving business environment. By augmenting front-line workers with the right devices and automation, we help enable enterprises to stay competitive and maximise the business opportunities created by the growing on-demand economy,” said Christanto Suryadarma, Southeast Asia (SEA) and South Korea Sales Vice President, Zebra Technologies.

According to Zebra’s Warehousing Vision Study, surveyed decision-makers understand the importance of technology, with 87 per cent confirming the need to implement new technology to stay competitive in the current on-demand economy. — VNS
