Nguyen Kim starts selling essential items for shoppers’ safety amid pandemic

Electronics retailer Nguyen Kim has started selling essential items such as rice, sugar, salt, and canned foods under a programme it has dubbed “Nguyen Kim sells essential products to increase convenience for customers" amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Electronics retailer Nguyen Kim has started selling essential items such as rice, sugar, salt, and canned foods under a programme it has dubbed “Nguyen Kim sells essential products to increase convenience for customers" amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The products will initially be sold at 15 Nguyen Kim outlets in Ha Noi, HCM City and other cities and provinces, be of good quality and sold at fixed prices like at its sister company, Big C.

Nguyen Thi Phuong, deputy general director of Central Retail Group, which owns both chains, said: “We have this programme to increase convenience for customers. In addition to purchasing electronics and technology products, customers can easily shop for essential products in a safe manner in one place amid the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Nguyen Kim plans to expand the programme to all over 70 stores nation-wide. — VNS
