As part of its Grand Tour of Asia, including Viet Nam, Oliver Chavy, chairman of the group said “Viet Nam is strategically importance strategy for the group because the country is one of the region’s highest growth potential hospitality market and has strong development prospects.”
The group plans to open Movenpick Resort Cam Ranh with 250 rooms, 100 residences and 100 villas in 2018, in Phu Quoc with 330 rooms in 2019, in Quy Nhon, Da Nang and Quang Binh in 2020.
During their visit to Viet Nam, the committee met company colleagues and local hotel owners and visited locations of upcoming properties. — VNS
