British publishing firm Oxford Business Group (OBG) yesterday signed an agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and other Vietnamese government agencies to inaugurate a report on the country’s economic development and investment opportunities.
The upcoming report, named The Report: Vietnam 2017, will highlight the country’s achievements on the global stage and explore the challenges Viet Nam has to face in 18 leading sectors of its economy.
The report will be a vital guide to many facets of the country such as macroeconomics, banking, and infrastructure, and contain interviews with leading representatives, OBG said in its statement.
The report is expected to become available in print or online before the World Economic Forum in January 2017, at which high-level delegates will discuss important topics such as the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement and the APEC Summit 2017.
The MOFA’s representatives will work with OBG to compile, produce and distribute The Report: Vietnam 2017.
OBG Country Director Gergana Miteva highly appreciated Viet Nam’s potential to most global investors and said OBG “have had the pleasure of discovering the plethora of opportunities the country has to offer and are keen to channel this information to our global network.”
