Viet Nam – Austria joint venture Mavin Group will invest in a high-tech research and development centre and a food processing plant in the south at a total cost of over US$80 million, said Chairman David John Whitehead.

Mavin recently inaugurated an animal feed warehouse in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang. Covering an area of nearly 1,000 sq.m, it accommodates up to 1,000 tonnes of animal feed to serve customers in the southwest and HCM City, helping to strengthen the Mavin brand in the region.

In May 2018, the group also inaugurated an animal feed plant in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap, which is the largest and most modern in the region.

The group also has a pig farm in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang with 200 sows, 100 boars and 3,000 piglets, contributing to improving quality in the locality. — VNS
