Manulife announces 25% rise in elite club for insurance advisors


Manulife Viet Nam has announced that its membership of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table in Viet Nam rose by 25 per cent last year, reflecting the increasing client-centric focus and high standards of service by its advisors.

HCM CITY (VNS) – Manulife Viet Nam has announced that its membership of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table in Viet Nam rose by 25 per cent last year, reflecting the increasing client-centric focus and high standards of service by its advisors.

Recognised as the global financial industry benchmark for the highest levels of professionalism, productivity and client service, the MDRT represents the elite of financial services professionals from around the world. Members are admitted based on professional, ethical and other criteria.

In 2013 the company's MDRT membership had grown by 22 per cent.

"Last year, for the first time, more than 1,000 of our advisors across Asia qualified for MDRT," Robert A Cook, president and CEO, Manulife Asia, said.

Founded in 1927, MDRT is an independent association of more than 42,000 life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 470 companies in 71 countries and territories. The million refers to the sales in US dollars achieved by the elite few who started the club 90 years ago. — VNS
