Major beverage maker promotes connectivity ‘for a better world’


The Anheuser-Busch InBev Company plans to promote practical activities in Vietnam to further its motto of "Bringing people together for a better world".

The Anheuser-Busch InBev Company plans to promote practical activities in Vietnam to further its motto of "Bringing people together for a better world".

The company, which produces and markets famous beer brands, promotes the beverage as a way to improve the quality of get-togethers for sporting and musical events, family parties, and friends hanging out with each other.

With a deep understanding of the Vietnamese beer-drinking culture, Anheuser-Busch InBev said that Việt Nam is the fastest-growing beer market in South East Asia and a favorable place to connect with other countries in the region.

In May 2015, Anheuser-Busch InBev officially opened a brewery in the VSIP II-A Industrial Park in Bình Dương Province. This was the first Anheuser-Bush InBev brewery in Southeast Asia and one of the 55 most advanced breweries producing Budweiser worldwide.

After a year of operation, the company opened another factory in Viet Nam. The total investment of the two factories is about US$250 million, with a total capacity of about 1 million Hectolitre per day (1HL = 100L).

The two factories provide Anheuser-Bush InBev’s products for the Vietnamese and Southeast Asian markets.

In recent years, together with the global Anheuser-Busch InBev factory system, the Anheuser-Busch InBev Vietnam factory has increased the number of recycled materials in its packaging, contributing to increasing the rate of recycling around the world through recovery and reuse of materials, and educating consumers about the importance of recycling.

Thanks to the goal of fighting against global climate change, in 2019, Anheuser-Busch InBev Vietnam brewers began installing solar panels that convert solar energy into electricity to make a positive contribution to the environment and reduce carbon production by applying production stabilization methods.

The solution has produced electricity to meet 30 per cent of the plant's demand. One-hundred per cent of the power supplied to the plant will be from renewable energy sources such as solar energy and wind power by 2025. — VNS
