Dong Thuy Co., Ltd, the company behind Lado Taxi, announced on March 27 that it had signed contracts with Green and Smart Moving JSC (GSM) and VinFast to expand its electric taxi service in various regions, including Lam Dong and Binh Dinh provinces.

As one of the earliest transport firms to operate electric cars, Lado Taxi is pushing forward with further investments to expand its eco-friendly taxi service and ultimately replace petrol-powered vehicles.

The recently-signed contract outlines Lado's plans to purchase 40 VF e34 electric cars from VinFast, adding to their current electric fleet.

Additionally, Lado has agreed to rent 300 VF e34s and 200 VF 5 Plus models from GSM. The rental period is 42 months and can be extended based on demand.

Lado's fleet of over 600 electric taxis has made it a frontrunner in green, sustainable transportation and has helped create an eco-friendly environment.
