Jabil, the US-based manufacturing solutions provider, recently announced the opening of a new building located at the economic heart of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) in HCM City.

Jabil Vietnam is one of Jabil’s mega sites with more than 8,600 employees and outstanding operations performance. The new building brings a total of 14,678sq.m of additional space and will create around 1,700 jobs.

“As we further expand our manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing needs of the global market, this new facility will play a key role in meeting increasing customer demand across the energy, industrial, networking, retail and telecom sectors while allowing us to scale sustainably, quickly and efficiently,” said Victor Brizuela, Jabil Vietnam operations development director.

“We will continue to elevate our factory operations, by promoting digitalisation and automation, to help our customers win with our best-in-class quality, innovations and technical competencies while making Jabil the place for our people to thrive,” he said.

Established in 2007 at Saigon Hi-Tech Park – a leading zone for advanced knowledge-based and high-tech manufacturing industries and services – Jabil Vietnam has grown with the aspirations of the country.

In addition, the company offers an expertly designed supply chain network that includes both local and regional suppliers to meet variable needs such as sheet metal stamping, packaging, plastic injection molding, and machining. — VNS
