InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort will launch a year-long series of premium gastronomic experiences, called A Taste of Luxury, at award-winning restaurant La Maison 1888 on Saturday.
Each exclusive event will pair bespoke menus from La Maison 1888 with exceptional wines selected from some of the most renowned estates in the world. Extraordinary cuisine and illustrious vintages come together in the richly gracious interiors of La Maison 1888, under the auspices of Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire.
A Taste of Luxury begins with a Chateau Angelus dinner on March 16th. The chateau is one of the foremost properties in Saint-Emilion and is known for its lush and elegant notes. One of its historic vintages – and a highlight of the evening – is the 2012 Chateau Angelus, Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classe A.
The special bottle design, black with a raised gold label, commemorates the significance of 2012 for the chateau – the year it was accorded the coveted Premier Grand Cru Classe A status, as well as the 230th anniversary of the arrival of the Boüard de Laforest family, founders of Chateau Angelus, in Saint- Emilion.
Owner and winemaker Hubert de Boüard de Laforest himself will be on hand, lending his distinguished presence to the event.
Guests can reserve one of the limited dinner places from VND6,888,000 (US$299) per person.
A Taste of Luxury continues in April with a famous Margaux wine brand, Chateau Palmer. — VNS
