LIXIL Vietnam Company Ltd. launched its next generation of anti-counterfeit stamps and INAX fittings at a ceremony in Ha Noi on June 15.

"With the application of anti-counterfeit stamps to the new generation of handheld showerheads under the INAX brand, we are committed to continuing to improve our product quality to meet our customers' demand and to strengthening the protection of consumer rights," General Manager of LIXIL Vietnam Company Limited Shinji Ito said.
The new generation of INAX anti-counterfeit stamps is equipped with many unique features that can help customers easily check and confirm the genuine origin of the product at any time or place when they buy the product.
State agencies and consumers can identify genuine goods through effective methods such as messaging a designated contact person for authentication or by recognising water effects or color changes when the product is illuminated with UV lights.

According to a survey by the Standards and Consumer Protection Association of Viet Nam, 62 per cent of consumers have encountered counterfeit goods without recognising them. Counterfeit and poor-quality goods have had a negative effect on production, food security, consumer health and the environment in Viet Nam. — VNS
