A project called “Five-Star Doctor Kiosk: Empowering Patient Satisfaction and Streamlining Operational Efficiency” by Hoàn Mỹ Thủ Đức International General Hospital has won the Excellence Award in the category of "Patient Experience Improvement" from Hospital Management Asia (HMA).
The HMA Awards are the pre-eminent hospital management awards in the region. This year's event was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last week and featured entries from leading healthcare providers across Asia-Pacific.
Hoàn Mỹ Thủ Đức, a member of Hoàn Mỹ Medical Group, the leading private healthcare group in Việt Nam, was the only Vietnamese representative to win the award, highlighting the group’s leadership in the country in delivering innovative, integrated, and patient-centric care.
The HMA jury highly appreciated the project for successfully improving the patient experience. By integrating IT systems to conduct patient experience surveys, the hospital can now gather valuable patient feedback, track information and implement targeted solutions to improve service quality and clinical standards.
The hospital is the latest member of Hoàn Mỹ Medical Group to receive this prestigious award. Last year, Hoàn Mỹ Bình Dương Private Hospital was recognised for facilitating safe pregnancy care during COVID-19, and in 2021, Hoàn Mỹ Medical Group was honoured with an Excellence Award for its "Resilient Blossoms" campaign to recognise the work of nurses during the pandemic.
Other hospitals in the group’s network, such as Hoàn Mỹ Đà Nẵng Hospital, Hoàn Mỹ Cửu Long Hospital, and Hạnh Phúc International Hospital, have also received HMA awards in the past for their successful projects. — VNS
