Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) and Lotteria Vietnam (Lotteria) on January 18 officially cooperated to implement the project using electric vehicles to deliver goods.

According to HVN, as part of a series of activities working towards carbon neutrality, HVN coordinated with Lotteria to provide 100 Benly e: electric scooters for delivery purposes at Lotteria's store system nationwide.

Carbon neutrality by 2050 is the goal of the Vietnamese Government and is also the goal that Honda Global is aiming for. In the process, Honda Motor aims to reduce CO2 by 34 per cent by 2030 compared to fiscal year 2020.

HVN has been closely following Honda Motor's direction on comprehensive solutions towards carbon neutrality, from promoting energy saving in the production process such as operating rooftop solar power systems, conducting tree planting activities to protect the environment, and introducing hybrid electric vehicle products in 2023.

In addition, HVN has been promoting preparations for the future of electric vehicles in Việt Nam, leasing electric PCX through the HEAD system and cooperating with VNPost in the electric vehicle delivery project. — VNS
