Electrical equipment trader Phu Khang Thinh Joint Stock Company, Korean electrical and lighting equipment manufacturer TPT Co Ltd and Korean electrical, LED and chip supplier SHIN WOO Innovation Co Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding for the distribution of TPT's electrical leakage prevention device in Viet Nam in HCM City on December 19.

Phu Khang Thinh will be the distributor while SHIN WOO Innovation will be the exclusive supplier.

The device helps protect electrical devices even when they are exposed to water, keeping users safe, Chun Hun An, CEO of TPT, said.

The company said in a release that besides preventing electricity leakages and accidents, it also reduces electricity costs and enables devices to work in water.

Huynh Ngoc Liet, general director of Phu Khang Thinh, said his company is proud to work with two prestigious Korean businesses.

"Through the agreement, we hope to provide an effective solution to the electrical industry, reducing electricity risks and losses, and provide safety to users during rains and storms."
