GE Renewable Energy to help build Lam Dong’s 1st wind energy plant


GE Renewable Energy has signed a contract with Ocean Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company to supply 15 wind turbines to its Cau Dat Wind Farm, the first in Lam Dong Province.

GE Renewable Energy has signed a contract with Ocean Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company to supply 15 wind turbines to its Cau Dat Wind Farm, the first in Lam Dong Province.

Construction is expected to be finished by the third quarter of 2021.

Gilan Sabatier, regional leader for GE Renewable Energy’s onshore wind business in South Asia and ASEAN, said: "We thank Ocean Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company and their leadership team for selecting GE for this project. The award of the Cau Dat wind farm further validates the great work we have done in Viet Nam and reaffirms our contribution to the country’s energy transition.”
