Green Cross Vietnam said it will co-operate with HCM City Youth Culture House to set up hand sanitation booths at the Tet Viet (Viet Lunar New Year) Festival, which is organised during the Lunar New Year at the Youth Cultural House in District 1 of HCM City.

The programme is a step that the brand has done to bolster the Ministry of Health’s campaign to have a safe Lunar New Year festival in which the ministry warns people to prevent COVID-19 by wearing masks, disinfection, vaccines and other solutions.

By setting up hand sanitation booths, the brand aims to send a message of “one more step, welcome a safe Lunar New Year.”

In addition, Green Cross is linking with an online magazine to publish a series of stories with solutions to protect consumers health as well as hygiene and disinfection solutions.

Furthermore, thousands of Green Cross sanitation products have been sent to people living in remote areas where local people face difficulties buying authentic sanitation products.

According to the Ministry of Health, Viet Nam so far has had over 11.5 million cases of COVID-19. The current weather condition as well as high demand for transportation during Lunar New Year create conditions for infectious diseases to spread. Therefore, the ministry requires simultaneous implementation of different epidemic prevention measures. — VNS
