HÀ NỘI — FPT Corporation has proposed strategic initiatives to drive digital transformation and education development in Thái Nguyên province.

During a meeting on March 7, provincial leaders, including Deputy Secretary and Chairman Nguyễn Huy Dung, emphasised the critical role of digital transformation and innovative technology, aligning with Resolution 57-NQ/TW. As a major education hub, Thái Nguyên University enrolls approximately 81,000 new students annually, the highest in Viet Nam.

FPT General Director Nguyễn Văn Khoa described the Resolution as a call for businesses to participate in a great revolution, reaffirming FPT’s commitment to collaborating with Thái Nguyên in implementing digital solutions for long-term growth.

Thái Nguyên seeks FPT’s collaboration in developing AI products to enhance workforce capabilities, establishing a local data center to support digital infrastructure, leveraging the digital economy to transform governance, production, and society as well as supporting high-tech agriculture to increase the value of local agricultural products.

Furthermore, the province has invested in a digital film studio to boost television and film production, aiming to become a hub for graphics, digital cinema, and digital art, promoting local tourism.

By partnering with FPT Corporation, Thái Nguyên aims to enhance digital transformation, elevate education quality, and drive sustainable economic growth, ensuring long-term prosperity in the digital age. — VNS
