Ford Vietnam recorded its best ever monthly sales of 4,506 units in November, 74 per cent of which were locally manufactured and assembled vehicles.

Sales increased 12 per cent compared to October and increased by more than 42 per cent from the same period last year, Ford announced, affirming that this is also the second consecutive month that three Ford models led their respective segments.

“For two consecutive months, Ford Vietnam achieved the best monthly sales records ever. Ford's three key vehicle lines have led their respective segments. This shows the trust of customers in Ford’s products and services. We highly appreciate the support of Vietnamese consumers toward the Ford brand, as well as the efforts of the entire Ford Dealer network that has always accompanied us over the years. I believe in the strong growth of Ford Vietnam in 2023 and in the future,” said Truong Kim Phong, deputy managing director of Ford Vietnam.

In the pickup segment, Ranger continues to affirm its leading position over the past 10 years with 1,995 units sold in November, accounting for more than 60 per cent of the market share of the segment.

Ford also remain highly competitive in the SUV segment with 1,105 units of Next Generation Everest delivered to customers. The midsize SUV sales increased by nearly 40 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the All-New Explorer has also led the large SUV segment for two consecutive months, with 62 vehicles sold, up nearly 35 per cent from the previous month. Since the beginning of the year, 712 all-new Explorers have been delivered to customers.

Ford Transit November sales increased by 9 per cent compared to the previous month with 308 vehicles delivered to customers. Transit's year to date sales are up 192 per cent from a year ago, indicating a recovery in travel and long-distance transportation after the COVID pandemic.

Additionally, in November 2022, Ford Vietnam recorded positive sales results of the Next Generation Territory with 1,036 units sold. The Next Generation Territory is the latest C-SUV assembled locally at the Hai Duong Plant. — VNS
