Five star Hilton Da Nang opens in central Viet Nam

The stylish new hotel is located near the Han swing bridge and the city’s famed Bach Dang street, offering unparalleled views of the Han River.
“Hilton Da Nang is uniquely placed to provide the foundation for memorable and sustainable travel experiences for guests visiting this culturally rich city,” said Jamie Mead, Regional General Manager for Hilton in Viet Nam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Hilton Da Nang enjoys easy access to the hub of city’s main entertainment, shopping and business belts, and short drive from Da Nang International Airport and beach.
Vice director of the city’s tourism department, Truong Thi Hong Hanh said the five-star hotel would help promote the city’s tourism brand and offer luxury accommodation.
Hanh said the city has witnessed the landing location of world famous hospitality brands including Novotel, Sheraton, Pullman and Mercure.
“Since our soft opening in December last year, Hilton Da Nang has successfully expanded its remarkable reputation in the city and international markets,” said Jesper Bach Larsen, General Manager, Hilton Da Nang.

Than Ha Nhat Thong, chairman of Bach Dang Trade and Hotel Service joint-stock company, investor of Hilton Da Nang, said the opening of the hotel is part of the Bach Dang Complex project that includes two office and luxury apartment buildings – the Heritage Treasure Da Nang project – to be launched next year under management of Savills.
According to the tourism department, more than 700 hotels, resorts projects have been developed in Da Nang, offering more than 36,000 rooms for 15 million tourists.
The city hosted 7.6 million tourists, of which 2.87 million were foreigners, in 2018. — VNS
