FrieslandCampina Viet Nam’s Dutch Lady brand has collaborated with the Đà Nẵng unit of the Women’s Union to gift 120,000 items of dairy products to hospitals and emergency aid centres, quarantines, the union’s disadvantaged members, and seniors who live alone and face financial difficulties.
FrieslandCampina Viet Nam’s Dutch Lady brand has collaborated with the Da Nang unit of the Women’s Union to gift 120,000 items of dairy products to hospitals and emergency aid centres, quarantines, the union’s disadvantaged members, and seniors who live alone and face financial difficulties.
The brand has also assisted with other activities related to COVID-19 prevention and control in the central city.
Both were part of a programme called Dinh duong yeu thuong, chung tay chia se (Loved Nutrients, Join to Share) launched in April when Viet Nam had mandated social distancing.
In the context of the country “fighting the COVID-19 pandemic like fighting the enemy,” and Da Nang being affected severely in the second round of the disease, Dutch Lady has undertaken useful activities to contribute to the fight against the epidemic.
They were meant to achieve the company’s goal of For Vietnam to Leap Forward and Reach Higher.
The company aims to supply high-quality nutrition products to help bring a healthy life to the community and develop the younger generations.
Hoang Thi Thu Huong, chairwoman of the Da Nang Women’s Union, said women, children and seniors who live alone are especially vulnerable to COVID-19.
Nguyen Van Hau of Dutch Lady said: “The campaign shows the social responsibility that Dutch Lady has and maintained for the last 25 years in Viet Nam.
