DHL invests US$2 million in pollution-reduction


The express joint venture company DHL-VNPT has invested nearly US$2 million in 43 new Mercedes Vito vans in an effort to reduce gas waste emissions, said DHL's General Director George Beczely on April 21.

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The express joint venture company DHL-VNPT has invested nearly US$2 million in 43 new Mercedes Vito vans in an effort to reduce gas waste emissions, said DHL's General Director George Beczely on April 21.

The new vehicles satisfy the Euro 4 standards on gas waste emissions, reducing by 25 per cent the emissions of the vehicles they replace.

The vans will help save 21 per cent in fuel consumption. — VNS
